I am a qualified physician, licensed to practice medicine in Ontario since 1982. Previously I was a medical specialist in Poland in Sports Injuries 1973. I specialize in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation treatment and assessments and also specialized in assessing for catastrophic impairment. I was a Medical Director at Seneca College Sports Medicine Clinic in 1983. Later, I was a Medical Director at the Sports Medicine Clinic at various locations including Durham College, Ajax Community Centre, Pickering and North York. Presently I am the Medical Director of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in Toronto. I was previously the Medical Director for three different Insurance Companies from 1982-1998 including Eaton Bay Financial, Confederation Life and Commercial Union. I completed the exams for the American Board of Insurance Medicine in 1988. I have focused my profession on assessing and treating various types of injuries arising from sports, motor vehicle accident, work place accidents and slip and fall accidents. I have been involved with assessing patients for chronic pain, assessing their therapeutic needs, assessing their non-economic loss as well as assessing their catastrophic injuries for over 20 years. I was one of the two Canadian physicians that contributor to the development of the American Medical Association Guides Impairment Calculator in 2005 utilizing the 5th edition of the AMA Guides to Impairment.
